For the first Olympic Value Festival sadly we were informed on the day of the event at around 11.45am. On this day I only had one lesson at school at 8:45-9:45am and then I went home so by the time the message had been passed around I was at home, therefore I was unaware of the festivals existance. In future we could improve the festivals by getting the message out a few days in advance.
To ensure that my session would be of a high standard I would have a definitive plan to setup as quickly and accurately as possible to avoid wasted time during the festival. I will also alter the tones and language I use to the appropriette level for the age group I am teaching.
From previous experience I have found that the timing of each session can be where things begin to go wrong, to stop this happening I will use stopwatches to time each sessionm accurately, in this case of these sessions it was 6 minute rotations. This allowed every pupil to have a chance to use every station. When rotating to the next station we will be able to have one person stay at the station we are operating and have one person guide the previous group to the next station they will be on. We are able to do this due to having at least two people at each station.
